I'm a retired international airline agent and details are my name and my passion! We checked-in yesterday at about 2;30pm and initially were advised that our 2 x double-bed room wasn't quite ready but then the nice lady at Reception, Ms Sue, suggested a King room instead, so that we could check-in right away, to which we agreed. Room 133 was indeed quiet and very comfortable, from the King-size bed and all the bed linens crispy fresh. There were at least 6 pillows of different weight to choose from, which I like. We used the parking out front and had no problem finding a spot with our Accessible Parking permit for my husband's bad knees awaiting surgery. Breakfast was ample and had many choices, even a waffle-maker! All the butters, cream cheese and yoghurts were kept in a small fridge, so you know they hadn't been sitting out... We had a very pleasant stay indeed. p.s. I tried to use my new Mastercard which required me to use a PIN, which I tried to do, twice. When it didn't accept it, I used my VISA, which worked well. After arriving home today, I checked my records and realized the reason my PIN didn't work: because a new card requires 3 tries with the Point of Sale machine before the system "takes". I had forgotten that rule and thought that it was OK as I used the Tap system for weeks with no problem. Now I feel foolish! I share this as it could happen to somebody else... Thank you, Ms Sue, for your patience and understanding in this crucial transaction! We will stay there again for sure! There are so many details in making and enjoying accommodation away from home and in our case, all went extremely well. There are several hotels/motels like the Comfort Inn in a small area of the 401 and Division St. in Kingston and we are glad we chose this one. It looked fully-booked, which in my book shows it is very customer-oriented and it showed, in many ways.

It was a good experience, the staff was so kind and accommodating. Continental Breakfast was pretty good. The rooms were clean and we especially liked that the room was a ground floor, where we could have access through our sliding door to our car parked directly infront of it. We had a late check in after driving through a snow storm, so it was nice to check in then be able to get to the car and have direct access from our room. It was great not have to go through the main lobby but rather just put our sleeping kids right into the bed.

Fara

It was surprisingly quiet for a hotel near a busy highway. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The window opens - this is always a bonus for me. It is very easy to get to downtown Kingston from the hotel. There is a "No Frills" supermarket, a beer store, LCBO and Panera's across the street, within easy walking distance.

Rooms were clean, staff was great. The only thing missing were baked gluten free options. As a person with celiac, it's hard enough to find places to eat when you're away. It feels good when hotels go the extra mile with a gf muffin and more fruit options would have been wonderful as well.

Lina

Breakfast was good, many options. The room was fine, we were able to park in front of the room and bring our luggage through the patio door. Location was great, close to the public transportation and downtown Kingston. Many places to eat, big supermarket close by.
